This is Dave, my friend’s dog. He’s super sweet and more than a little weird. His vet tried to put him on doggie Prozac for depression! Dave has the most adorable way of rolling over really gently and slowly, hoping against hope that you will pat his belly but not wanting to be pushy. It’s also a running joke that whenever Dave is just standing around looking sad, it’s because he’s forgotten who he is/what he was doing. And then you say “Dave!” and he looks up and wags his tail and trots over as if to say “That’s right! I’m a Dave!”
